The Middle Casita is on the second floor and a true studio apartment. It has a private bedroom with queen size bed, lots of closet space and full bath. The kitchenette has an eating bar and is fully equipped. The rest of the space is open layout dining/living/studio. If you happen to be a fiber or visual artist, there is a 12 ft long x 8 ft high pin-able work wall. There is a wide patio with a view of Malecon and a comfortable place to eat outside. There is also a pull out couch that has a comfortable queen bed for visiting guests. In the winter, there is a gas fireplace, not that it ever really gets cold, but adds to the cozy feeling. We supply linens and towels and there is a shared laundry on the premises in the first floor bodega.

Casita Exterior

Building consists of 3 Casitas in the heart of Chapala centro. Walking distance to malecon, lake, shopping, restaurants and across the street from the Red Cross/Cruz Roja. This house is in one of the safest locations in Chapala..

Casita Street Entrance

Entrance from the street is secured with a keypad lock for your protection. Enter through the stained glass door and proceed up the stairs to the second floor. There is another apartment on the third floor and you will share the stairs and entrance.

Private Patio

Relax, eat, read..while you enjoy the view of the Malecon and the gentle lake breeze. Our gardener will come once a week to water the plants.

Linens are in the closet with plenty of room for clothing and luggage. The bedroom is away from the street and has a white noise machine if the Mariachi band is still serenading you at bedtime. There is a comfortable queen size bed with linens to fit.

Plenty of towels in the bathroom and a lavanderia a few blocks away.

Fully Equipped Kitchenette

The kitchen is small but fully equipped and ready for your culinary creations. There’s a microwave, coffee maker and full size frig plus view out kitchen window. There’s an eating bar where you can talk to your friends while cooking

This large open space is perfect for entertaining, dancing and if you are a visual artist, there is a 8’ X 12’ pin-able work wall.
