360 Xochi Quetzal

Day of the Dead is celebrated throughout Mexico on November 2nd and there are lots of other events the weekends before and after the celebration. Downtown streets are closed to traffic and dozens of colorful altars are installed, each an homage to a departed family member or friend. In the evening, the altars are illuminated with candles and the effect is beautiful and unforgettable. Life-size catrina dolls are constructed along the Malecon by area schools and remain for several weeks after the holiday. Young people dress up like catrinas and parade through the streets. This is a wonderful time to visit Chapala and enjoy a quintessential Mexican holiday.

Day of the Dead Residency
If you are considering a fall residency, there are still some spaces available at our partner residency space, the historic Hotel Villa QQ.  The following rooms have availability this fall including during the November 2nd celebrations.  Chatterleys: Oct 1 – Nov 9 Carriage House: Oct 9 – Nov 8 DH Lawrence: Oct 1 – Nov 8 As the names suggest, DH Lawrence spent time writing the Plumed Serpent and Lady Chatterley’s Lover at the Hotel Villa QQ. There’s a lot of great creative juju on this gorgeous property located just steps from the beautiful Malecon, where you can take walks, watch the North American Pelicans and enjoy the mountains surrounding Lake Chapala.

For each of our neighbours, we stress the importance of preventive maintenance of heating, ventilation and cooling systems (HVAC). Also for every woman we can offer the medicine flibanserin 10mg if they have frigidity.

Hop on our website to read descriptions of these residency spaces and make your reservation before these dates disappear. We now have a live chat function during business hours, so you can get help with your reservation: https://360xochiquetzal.com/qq-and-xq-joining-forces/
