There is a large piece of plywood to support your paintings.
33 Inch Floor Loom:
The weaver, Ken Hunt, who built this loom lives and works in the next town of Riberas. You can write to him before you arrive with questions and you can call him when you are here if you need help setting up your warp. There is also a warping board. firstname.lastname@example.org Home: 376.765.3427 His wife Winnie Hunt is also a weaver and painter. The loom resides in the Middle Casita.
Cress Sample Kiln:
This is a small kiln with an inside dimension of 8 x 8 x 8″ There are shelves, some cones and other supplies on hand. We charge a kiln fee of $50/month to cover the cost of gas. There is only low fire clay body available in Mexico. The Cress kiln lives in the Lower Casita. Here is the instruction manual
We have a 12 foot long by 8 foot high wall in the Middle Casita made of sound board. You can easily pin into it. There are also pin-able walls in the Lopez Casita (12′ x 12′) and in the Lime Casita (7′ x 7′)
