Liska Jacobs is a current resident writer at 360 Xochi Quetzal Artist and Writers Residency in Chapla, Mexico. She is the author of the novels “Catalina” (FSG Originals) and “The Worst Kind of Want” (MCD). Her essays and short fiction have appeared in The Rumpus, Los Angeles Review of Books, The Literary Hub, The Millions, and Minor Literatures.The following essay On Time was just published in the University of Southern California literary magazine Air/Light. She is spending her winter residency working on her third novel scheduled to be published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux.
